catalog playthru (cohost cross-post)

today i tried to play through my ENTIRE catalog, got like halfway through windburn and got tired. i was playing for about 2 hours straight so that kinda tracks. found a way to do a couple songs off torrent that i thought would be impossible though! including the whack job "throw on a capo in the middle of a song" to bridge the transition properly!!!

i even did cardinal even though it rips me to pieces. i think the beginning is the hardest, the 2nd verse is Catharsis Incarnate so i feel much better after that. i think that was the point of the whole damn song.

also: Bandcamp Friday Is Tomorrow so i'll do my usual bleating about buying my music

i keep a spreadsheet of my weapon usage that i update every month. it has stats from 1, 2 and 3, because i like comparing and contrasting weapons i used to use and ones i currently use. i track games won and turf inked, and rank by turf inked. you know, nerd shit.

i separate my top 10, and then the others shimmy down, with weapons with >10k inked italicized at the bottom. as you can tell i am crazy for the vanilla inkbrush and like oddball weapons with good movement. big swig express has made some huge leaps in the last month¹ and i really wanna 4* it.

anyway that last column i JUST added on there: that's basically "how long would it take to get to 5* this weapon if i only played turf war and lost every match". i would LIKE to 5* another weapon some day, for real. squeezer is the closest so far (big swig is 34 turf losses until 4*). idk if i'll keep updating that since it's just a bit of math, but seeing the numbers is. something.

1. i know, i KNOW. i used to make fun of the big swig, but i'm having a lot of fun with it in turf. you really need to use the ENTIRE kit to your advantage, which i find cool and fun. these "big gains" are: it was at 7k during my last spreadsheet update. now it's over 120k. me and my 7-11 big gulp are not messing around
