with the cohost exodus for real coming, it's time to dust this thing off again and also revisit My Options. i think i was seriously going to use this as a for real blog or use it for my diary now that the create entries page is more mobile friendly.

part of me also wants to make my actual website on neocities more mobile friendly by cracking out some templates, or trying to run a blog on there, but i'm not so sure. there's been a lot of options going on and i think it's overwhelming me.

it's also completely distracting me from the writing i want to do which sucks!

but anyway, there's a couple of cool things, like schlaugh, which has the gimmick of only being able to post once per day, and the site updates once per day. that's a cool way to habitualize a "daily blog" of sorts, plus it just kinda discourages the usual scrolling bullshit. that's the case here too. my headmate kinda took the reigns of our first post there, but we made one and perhaps we will use it.

there's a thing called haven web which is the private blog idea that i've been dreaming of for a while now actually! to replace my diary! but you do have to self-host, and while there are fairly cheap tools to do that, idk if i really want to go that route. i'm so glad it exists though.

i should probably redesign my website to be mobile friendly and use a template of sorts...i'm just really going to miss the charm the old one has if i do so. i honestly need to learn about hiding anchors in pages so i can create the One Page Site like i have on carrd. it's just way easier to manage and lighter in general.

i'm getting kinda tired anyway. tomorrow is my birthday and i feel like the ennui is going to run me down like a freight train sometime soon.
